On 1 September 2024, Katrina Perehudoff presented her research on "Re-historicizing Europe’s Pharmaceutical Industry and EU Law Through a Colonial Lens" in the session titled Colonial Legacies in the European Collective Memory.
On 2 September 2024, Katrina Perehudoff and Pramiti Parwani joined forces to present their work in the session on Re-Examining EU Activity in Pharmaceuticals at EU Level and Beyond. Perehudoff’s talk focused on "How the EU Influences Law, Markets, and Medicines in the Developing World," while Parwani shared a chapter from her Ph.D. research titled "External Trust and Regulatory Reliance on the EMA: Implications for Vaccine Access in LDCs."
On 4 September 2024, Pramiti Parwani chaired a session on The EU as a Global Health Actor – Between Securitisation and Cooperation. During this session, she presented her work on "Enhancing Vaccine Manufacturing Capabilities in Africa: A Critical Look at the EU’s Role," while Majd Alshoufi explored "State-building in the Southern Neighbourhood Through EU Health Policies and Actions: Where Do We Stand?"
