On 13 November 2023, Corrette Ploem, from the Law Centre for Health and Life, together with professor of cardiology Douwe Atsma, talked about the increasing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, on the Dutch radioshow “Spraakmakers”.

Important themes, such as the personal contact between a doctor and patient, the role of the law in legislating these developments, and the final responsibility of caregivers were discussed. Additionally the the importance of transparency and consent when using patient data were covered in the broadcast.
