Which factors influence pharmaceutical companies to market their products in low- and middle-income countries? This was the subject of LCHL’s dr. Katrina Perehudoff’s presentation at the annual WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmaceutical Policy and Regulation-Utrecht University Winter Pharmaceutical Policy Meeting on January 11-12, 2023. Masters’ intern Ms. Carolien de Visser contributed to this preliminary research, in collaboration with the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development.

This presentation of preliminary results is part of Katrina’s ongoing research exploring the EU’s role in global access to medicines, which is supported in part by a Veni talent grant from the Netherlands Organisation of Scientific Research and the Amsterdam University Funds.
