This presentation will discuss the rapid growth of digital health technologies and the associated risks, such as digital coloniality and regulatory issues. The prompt implementation of these technologies without adequate oversight can reinforce existing inequalities and discrimination. This presentation proposes a decolonial approach which advocates for a reimagining of digital health regulation and to focus on global south perspectives to promote health justice.
