For the Law Centre for Health and Life in the Faculty of Law, we are looking for an enthusiastic student assistant for research support.

What are you going to do

Your core tasks in this position are:

  • support in the research of the Centre, particularly of dr. De Ruijter;

  • support in setting up the Centre’s organization, sort out mailing lists, contacts;

  • help organize events;

  • help manage social media, podcasts, and further communications;

  • support in the coordination of agendas.

What do we require

For this position of lecturer we require that you are:

  • interested, or a student in Health Law;

  • interested, or a student in European Law or Public International Law;

  • experience using social science research methods is welcome;

  • available for ideally a year, preferably two years;

  • a clear communicator in English, knowledge of Dutch is considered a welcome addition;

  • able to work independently on projects and play a coordinating role in a team.

Our offer

We offer you a challenging and diverse position in an ambituous environment. The UFO-profile of student assistent The candidate will be offered a temporary contract for 12 hours for the duration of one year, starting from 15 July 2022.

The salary amounts to a minimum of €2.310 and a maximum of €2.511 gross per month (salary scale SA, CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten) based on full-time employment (38 hours). The UvA also offers extensive secondary employment benefits, including 8% vacation pay and 8.3% year-end bonus. The CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten applies.
